For the final Friday of Black Music Month, I definitely have to take a moment to thank God for allowing me to create, compose, play, arrange, sing and write my own music. I honestly don’t even know how I’m doing it, but I’m fully committed and I’ve come so far!

I wrote “Not Worried” back in January. And I went back and forth for a bit about whether or not I wanted to put it out. It’s more of a demo and I was experiencing some vocal struggles when I recorded it, but I felt a push to release it—as is. So that’s what I’m doing. It’s raw, yet hopeful. It’s real. I wrote this song in the midst of my worries, and God lifted me right out of them. And the song has truly carried me. I have felt my faith and my joy grow stronger and I am so very grateful that God gave this song to me. 🥹🥹🥹 I am so excited to share it soon! by @iplaythevoice

This one is called “Not Worried” and it has been getting me through all the trials and tribulations that 2026 has brought my way. I thank God for giving me a song that can speak peace to my mind and my spirit when so much of what is happening in the world feels uncertain. by @iplaythevoice
