I’m glad I didn’t faint.

There were days I almost gave up. Days when I couldn’t see how it was going to get better. But somehow, God kept sending just enough.

A word. A song. A scripture. A person. A reminder “keep going I’m not finished.”

Some of us are standing today because God kept meeting us right at the edge of giving up.

So if you’re there this morning, don’t faint!

You have not seen all that God is going to do yet.

Stay here. Keep believing. There is still goodness with your name on it.

Psalm 27:13

Maybe this season isn’t asking you to be stronger. Maybe God is teaching us where to lean.

We lean for many different reasons, and sometimes we lean simply because we trust what we’re leaning on, can hold us.

Leaning is it weakness. It’s knowing where to put the weight.

You’ve been holding yourself up long enough. God is calling you to lean.

Trust Him.

Faith doesn’t exist us from hard things, but hard things don’t mean God has left us.

Don’t let disappointment make you miss his presence.

Christ know what it’s like.

Sometimes we act like we have to convince God that this really hurts

You don’t.

He knows what rejection feels like. Betrayal. Grief. Being misunderstood. Being tired and still having to keep going.

Whatever you’re carrying today, bring it to him just as it is

He gets it. He understands and he cares.

Why are you asking to change your situation? Trust he may also be doing something in you.

Chris know what it’s like. And he knows exactly what you need today.

Every season seems to teach me a new way to be still.

Sometimes being still means don’t respond yet. Don’t make the decision yet or don’t say what you’re thinking yet.

Pause. Pray. Listen.

God give me the wisdom today to know when to be still in a hard, quiet enough to recognize your voice.
