Music may be everywhere, but its use comes with rights. A Music Licence is an authorisation to use copyrighted music in a particular way, especially when music is played or performed publicly. From restaurants and hotels to clubs, events and retail spaces, the right licence helps ensure that the authors, composers and publishers behind the music are recognised and receive the royalties they are entitled to. ✍️🎼 Because when music adds value to your space, the creators behind that music deserve to be part of that value. So, before you play it publicly… #LicenseLiyaKya? 👀🎵 Stay tuned as we decode the basics of music licensing, one Thursday at a time.
