The bid is one chapter. And we should know fairly soon whether Ipswich has made the final four for UK City of Culture 2029. Obviously, we'd love that. But something bigger has been happening alongside it. Ipswich has been developing a 10-year Culture & Heritage Strategy, shaped by people and organisations across the town. That work matters whatever happens with the bid. So forget 2029 for a minute. What should Ipswich have MORE of by 2036? Music? Making? Festivals? Heritage? Neighbourhood culture? Spaces?
