Would you like a post about my visit to the Tretyakov gallery?😁 by @ira_aboutwine
My January Moscow reminiscences - part 2⭐ After a three-hour stroll❗ only on the 1st floor of the Tretiakov gallery, I felt that I needed some good snack and a glass of wine 🍷. I went to a beautiful restaurant nearby - "Dell Arte" @dellarte.rest ❤️ I've got a really nice experience and I highly recommend it if you're near the gallery ✌🏻 So, I've chosen a glass of "Braunewell Unser Täglich Riesling"👍🏻 It is a crisp, light-bodied, and refreshing dry white wine from the Rheinhessen region of Germany🇩🇪, designed for everyday enjoyment. Produced by the family-owned Weingut Braunewell winery, this wine offers aromas of green apple, citrus, and hints of tart yellow fruit with high acidity and a lively finish✨. I paired it with a very cute and tender rabbit pate✌🏻 For dessert I'd like some sweet wine and good espresso ☕, so my choose was "Gonzalez Byass Elegante Cream Sherry"👍🏻 It is a popular, accessible blended sherry from Jerez, Spain, combining Palomino Fino and Pedro Ximénez 🍇. It features a dark mahogany color, with notes of raisins, figs, toffee, and roasted nuts🌰. A blend of Palomino (for structure) and Pedro Ximénez (for sweetness) grapes results in a rich, velvety, and sweet flavor profile.🍫 It was a real revelation after a long but gorgeous excursion 🌹 by @ira_aboutwine
Moscow reminiscences - part 1🍷 Being in January in Moscow, I visited some really cute places and tasted some really interesting wine🍷So, I'd like to share with you, my friends 💞 The first place is "Brix" @brixbarmoscow ⭐ Such a beautiful and cosy wine bar with educated staff, wonderful wine collection and very warm atmosphere ✨ I've chosen a really interesting rose wine: Patrey, "Basileus" Leucon✌🏻. It is a Russian rosé wine produced by Patrey Winery in the Krasnodar region (Kuban). It is made from the indigenous grape variety🍇 Krasnostop Zolotovsky and is noted in wine communities for its distinct berry profile🍓. I paired it with very rich beef broth💪🏻, as it was -19°❄️ The second wine was "Dos Almas" Carmenere Reserva🇨🇱 It is a Chilean red wine🍷 from the Colchagua Valley, known for its rich, full-bodied profile with notes of black and red fruits (blueberry, blackberry, cherry🍒), spice, chocolate🍫, and vanilla, balanced by velvety tannins and an elegant finish✨. This bold, structured wine I paired really well✌🏻: a pumpkin! toast🍞 with liver pate, cherry jam and... (you won't believe!) chocolate 🍫!!! It was a real pleasure to visit such a quality wine place 🌹 by @ira_aboutwine
