You’re my big sister, Zain.

I’m trying so hard to not be mad. But the truth is that I want to clench my fists and scream until the last cloud falls out of the sky. Zain, I’m hurting in places that I didn’t know pain could reach. We were supposed to navigate life together. I didn’t even get to say goodbye.

You’re my big sister, Zain.

I know you didn’t want to leave us. And, please, know that I’m not mad at you either. The best parts of me I got from copying you. I exist only because you helped mold me. I will carry you around for the rest of my life. I am proud to be your brother.

You’re my big sister, Zain.

I promise you that I will watch over Surrayha as she grows old. I will protect her like you protected me. I promise you Zain I will do everything in my power to make sure she feels the combined strengths of our love and pride.

You’re my big sister, Zain. Rest in peace. I love you. by @iramzilla

I would like to take a quick sec to give my Dad a shout out. He is one of my biggest inspirations and I would not be half the man I am today without his presence and guidance. Cheers to 68 years on Earth and 28 years of being my father! by @iramzilla
