Happy Birthday to my “twin sister”💛
When I think of this girl—my best friend, my ride or die—I think of pure joy. She is the definition of the color yellow: sunshine and positivity. She brightens every room with her laugh and her smile. I truly can’t remember a time we’ve been together and I didn’t laugh so hard my stomach hurt.
She’s the kind of person who cares more about others than herself. She’s always there to pray with you, laugh with you, check on you, and cry with you. She puts her self aside for others and it challenges me to do the same each and every day. She shows Jesus’ love so well. She constantly is pointing me towards Jesus and encouraging me in my walk with the Lord. She’s built me up over and over again. The Bible talks about having people who sharpen you like iron sharpens iron—and she is exactly that. I’m constantly inspired by her faith and the strength she carries. She’s one of my rocks, and I honestly don’t know what I’d do without her.
She has saved me from more dumb decisions than I can count and has given me more grace than I deserve. Her beauty goes far beyond appearance—she wears her heart on her sleeve. She’s one of my biggest supporters, my encourager, my dance partner, and my fellow crazy dream chaser.
She’s always down for any wild idea, party, adventure, or trip. She’s walked with me through some of the craziest seasons of life and has always lifted me up when I needed it most. God truly blessed me with this kind, selfless, caring, loving, compassionate, goofy, and beautiful soul. I’ve lost count of the times I’ve thought, “she is literally a gift from God.” I really think He knew we’d need each other for this crazy rollercoaster of a life.
She’s the Amelia to my Abigail (iykyk).🪿👀
I hope today is filled with all the things you love: butter yellow outfits, matcha runs, thrift store finds, Chick-fil-A nuggets, pink and sparkles, fresh flowers, cozy candles, Disney karaoke moments, late-night ice cream runs, TJ Maxx trips, Broadway shows, natural soaps, and all the cake you deserve.
