Just some quiet studio time 📽️
I am not filming much lately. I feel like I am happy to be back on Insta, but at the same time, I’m still in a period of experimentation, and in order to experiment freely, I need to be completely distraction free. Don’t get me wrong, I actually love filming, but sometimes staying completely in the moment is the best feeling ever, especially when creating 💕 What about you? Do you like to film your process?

More wips and behind the scenes from my camera roll 🎥 I’m currently looking at old ideas and giving them new life, so I have lots of things in progress 💕 Hope you enjoy!

Throwback to some studio days from my former studio 💕

Kinda miss it, but the light is better in my current space!

Hi! When I decided to jump back into social media the other day, I wasn’t quite sure if I was ready because I’m in a phase of deep experimentation. I don’t have anything ready and super new and shiny yet…just lots of work in progress stuff, some experiments and a huge sense of creativity bubbling up. So, I hope you’ll enjoy what’s coming. I’m not sure what it will be, but I’m happy to be back at my desk 💕

Hi! Just a little study from reference to break my social media pause 💌 It’s been a while since my last post…Honestly, last spring was intense, and taking a step back was very much needed! I took some time completely off for the first time ever, and I missed drawing every day while I was on my break. Now I’m focusing on experimenting as much as possible, try new media and way of doing things and simply draw and let things flow. Hope you enjoy this little study and whatever comes next 💕

Unposted moments from my camera roll 📽️
I am not filming much of my studio time lately. Reality is that I don’t have much time, and I’m trying to focus as much on doing things and way less on taking nice videos, and so on. These are some graphite pieces and studies in progress. Some are actually done, but I need time to take some nice pics! Hope you enjoy these snippets 💕

It feels like ages since I last posted something! I took a break from social media because I needed it, and I also had tendinitis this month 🤡! The March Surreal Botanist Mail is all about barn owls. The limited edition also features a black Linocut print with some gold embellishments 🌙 I hope you enjoy it 💕 You still have till the end of the month to get this if you want it 💕 #owl #snailmail #magical by @ire.ma

Hi! Here are some wip frames of the February prints in progress 💌 The digital piece is going to be soft and coloured while the lino cut one is going to be a cerulean blue… I hope you’ll like them!
Starting the snail mail last month was a huge leap for me and a way to go back to physical art and not only social media content. It’s also a way for me to create a new illo every month and stay connected with what I want to make.
We tend to consume so much content and so few real things that I really wanted to create something collectible, a little like going back in time when I was a kid and I used to collect small cards and postcards. Did you do that too?
