Today, I watched my son raise his right hand and swear in to become a United States Marine. 🇺🇸It was one of the proudest, most emotional moments of my life. My heart is full… and breaking all at once. I knew this day was coming, but nothing truly prepares a mama to let go in this way.For the next 13 weeks, he will face challenges that will shape him, mold him, and push him beyond what he ever thought possible. And while I won’t be able to hear his voice or feel his hugs, I’ll be carrying him in my heart every single second.He’s no longer just my boy—he’s now one of The Few.
