Salomon Cappadocia Ultra Trail 38K 🏔️🏃‍♀️

This one was so special💫 I ran my longest distance ever in the place which has always been so magical for me, Cappadocia!

Every time I’m here it just feels unreal, like the landscape was made up by someone with a wild imagination. So racing here was a dream.

38.7 km, 1,220 m of climbing, 6.5h. Some of those climbs felt like they’d never end, and there were definitely moments I questioned every decision in my life. But every time I looked up, the views reminded me why I was there.

I was so stoked crossing that finish line. Tired, emotional and happy. The race vibes, being surrounded by athletes from all over the world, and running with the beautiful people of the UAE trail running community made it unforgettable⚡️

Special thanks to @broad_run_ for the endless support and motivation whenever doubt creeps in.

Until next time, Cappadocia! 🧡

Salomon Cappadocia Ultra Trail 38K Parkur by @irem.al_

Last Saturday, I completed my first race outside UAE: the Salomon Cappadocia Ultra Trail (CST 38K) 38.6 😂

This one is unforgettable. The views are amazing and would highly recommend to everyone.

It was tough, not everything went according to plan, but that's the beauty of trail running. Every challenge teaches you something new.

Grateful for the experience, the lessons learned, and the wonderful people i met during the race. 💪🏅

Thank you @milesbykath, u r d best! 🤗

Kaçkar UTMB🏔️🇹🇷 Overall 21K / +1400m.

Ran my first UTMB where my roots are. A race I finished with my heart full. What a privilege to discover my country this way. Kaçkar Mountains, I’ll be back💚

Still not over that weekend. After my 100km ultra in May and missing Comrades cause of Dengue we were back on the trails at the Adidas Irbis Race thanks to @adidasrunning @adidasuae @athletex_kz and @broad_run_ First 6km steep uphills, cruising for 5km before the descent. Short and spicy, still not back to the old form but we are getting there. Next stop: Berlin Marathon. /// by @irem.al_
