I love to think of this quote when I’m not feeling myself. Stress, worry, anxiety and over thinking can be so all consuming and it’s so easy to get bogged down by the negatives. More often than not we can fall victim to our own thoughts 💭 when this happens I find it so helpful to focus on what IS going well rather than what isn’t or by listing what I am grateful for and literally counting my blessings! Spending 5 minutes focusing on the good and ‘turning towards the sun’ can prevent you from spending hours in the clouds ☁️ of negativity. The past little while I have been stressed & allowing things to get to me that really shouldn’t so I’m going to practice what I preach and take out my journal and list everything I am grateful for and everything that I am doing well. This helps retrains my 🧠 to actively seek out the positives and as a result the negatives get pushed further and further away from my mind 👋🏼 If you’re feeling the same get out a piece of paper or open a note on you’re phone and list everything and everyone that makes you happy and that you’re grateful for and notice the neggy-nellies disappear from your head ☀️ Happy Monday lovelies -we got this ✌🏽 taken in Enniscorthy by @irenaroche_

I still don’t have the words for this caption 🌶️ but all I can say is, I did it for;

🌶️ Me. The younger and current versions of myself. Ever since I can remember I’ve had insecurities about my body; my arms, legs, hips, tummy, my pale skin, my toes (I know that’s weird 😂) the list goes on 📝 As I’ve grown I’ve come to realise that we ALL have these insecurities and too often we allow them to hold us back, from wearing certain clothes, from getting our pictures taken, from putting ourselves out there.

I will never be 100% happy or confident in my body but I have put a lot of work in mentally into loving and appreciating my body for all it is and all it does for me 💗 🫁 🫀🧠

🌶️ You. For women who have the same body shape as me. For women who have PCOS. For women who want to see their body types and insecurities in advertisements and in beautiful clothing.

It’s rare that I see women in the media who look like me (acne, cellulite, bruises, hip dips) That don’t make me think ‘that dress is beautiful but I could never wear that’. I wanted to show up to this shoot flaws and all in order to show women like me that we are beautiful 💖 and CAN and SHOULD embrace our own bodies and beauty.

I know I haven’t posted in what feels like a lifetime but I’ve honestly just been enjoying living life and taking in the small moments away from social media and the pressure of ‘having’ to create and post content.

How perfect is this @zara dress 🧡🍊🦀 I don’t normally wear such bright colours but when I saw it on the website I just had to add it to my cart 🛒 It was the perfect holiday dress but would make a gorgeous wedding guest dress too 🧡
