✅Mafanikio hayaji kwa bahati wala kwa haraka. Kila mafanikio tunayoyaona leo yamejengwa kupitia mchakato wa kujifunza, kuvumilia, kushindwa, kujirekebisha na kuendelea kusonga mbele.

✅Vivyo hivyo, kabla ya kuanzisha mradi au biashara, si kila wazo linafaa kutekelezwa. Ni muhimu kujiuliza .Je mradi huu unatatua changamoto halisi? Una athari chanya kwa jamii? Una uwezo wa kukua na kuleta thamani endelevu?

Haya ni baadhi ya masomo makubwa niliyojifunza kutoka Vijana Uchumi Challenge, na naamini yanaweza kuwa mwongozo kwa kila kijana mwenye ndoto ya kuleta mabadiliko kupitia ubunifu na ujasiriamali.

Ujumbe huu umetolewa na Mhe. Albert John Chalamila , Mkuu wa Mkoa wa Dar es Salaam katika hotuba yake kwenye finali ya vijana uchumi challenge .

Naipongeza Serikali yetu ya Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania, kupitia Wizara ya Vijana na Ofisi ya raisi maendeleo ya vijana @orvijana , kwa kuendelea kuandaa majukwaa kama haya yanayowawezesha vijana kuonesha ubunifu, kujifunza, kujenga mitandao na kupata fursa za kukuza mawazo yao.

Kama Youth Opportunities Advocate, ninaamini vijana wengi zaidi wanapaswa kushiriki kwenye fursa kama hizi ndipo mawazo yanapokutana na maarifa, ushauri na mtandao unaoweza kubadilisha ndoto kuwa uhalisia.#vijanauchumichallenge #youthempowerment #tanzania #youthopportunities #imbeju

Kupitia kujituma, mawazo yake na dhamira yake katika maendeleo ya vijana, anaendelea kuwa sehemu ya kizazi kinachojitambua, kinachowezeshwa na kilicho tayari kuleta mabadiliko. Safari yake inatukumbusha kuwa binti anapochukua nafasi yake, haijijengei yeye pekee, bali hufungua milango kwa wengine kuinuka.

I’m deeply grateful to Tech & Media Convergence (TMC) @mediaconvergency for the opportunity to be part of yesterday’s Technical Focus Group Discussion on “The Ghost in the Circuit: Autonomous Cyber Threats, Algorithmic Malice, and the Vulnerability of Tanzania’s Digital State.”

Yesterday wasn’t just about attending a discussion. It was about listening, questioning, contributing, and learning alongside professionals from different fields working around technology, cybersecurity, policy, and governance. Walking into the room as a Computer Engineering student and being part of such a conversation was an opportunity I truly valued.

The discussion challenged me to look beyond how technology works and think more deeply about how technology, law, policy, security, and society need to work together.

One question that really made me think was how we can defend critical digital infrastructure when AI driven attacks can operate at machine speed, while human defenders may need much more time to detect, understand, and respond to them. It made me think about the importance of real time monitoring, automated threat detection, AI assisted defence, resilient systems, and having the ability to respond quickly when an attack happens.

We also discussed the legal and accountability challenges surrounding autonomous AI systems, the responsibility of developers and deployers to build secure systems, the forensic capacity needed to investigate AI enabled cyber incidents, and how Tanzania can continue encouraging innovation while protecting national security.

Looking at the experiences of countries such as Estonia, Singapore, Israel, and the United Kingdom reminded me that Tanzania does not have to wait for every crisis to happen before learning from it. We can learn from what other countries have experienced, adapt what works to our own context, and build stronger systems before vulnerabilities become national crises.

Being selected as a TGEE IT Bootcamp Mentor has been a meaningful opportunity for me. The mentor training equipped me with valuable skills in effective communication, teamwork, leadership, and creating an engaging learning environment.

Nina furaha sana kutambulishwa kama mmoja wa Elimika Youth Digital Advocacy Champions!

Kama kijana na mwanafunzi wa Computer Engineering, nimekuwa nikiamini kuwa teknolojia inaweza kuwa chombo cha kuleta mabadiliko chanya katika jamii. Kupitia nafasi hii, nitapata fursa ya kushiriki katika uchechemuzi kuhusu masuala ya afya ya uzazi kwa kushirikisha taarifa sahihi, kuvunja imani potofu, na kuhamasisha vijana kufanya maamuzi sahihi.

Nikiwa msichana ninayependa kuona vijana wakifikia uwezo wao na jamii ikiwa na uelewa mzuri kuhusu afya ya uzazi, ninaamini kila mazungumzo na kila taarifa sahihi inaweza kuleta mabadiliko makubwa.
