Case #1: If you’re like me — you are naturally good at taking pictures of scenery. If only you added pictures of yourself being in that scenery, it’ll be already 80% better, than pictures of scenery alone. So — your small change would be — making sure you ask someone (or use a tripod) to take a few snaps of yourself when you go around or travel. And you’ll now have posts that have YOU in them, and people can go ahead and begin connecting with you much better through your visuals.Case #2:If you’re like my husband, and your camera feed is filled with clips of you eating all kinds of weird food — I have only ONE ask — LIFT YOUR CAMERA HIGHER! Nobody wants to see up your nose 🙃 (sorry honeybun
 love you!).And
now that we already have YOU in it, and your food — how about we also get some SCENERY. Add panning clips of WHERE you’re eating your food. The cafe, or a street you’re looking at, or where you got that food. Just one slow panning shot. This sets the context and adds variety to your video! BONUS:If you’re fancy — a nice low angle shot of your food as it has been served is “the cherry on top”. You don’t need anything more complicated. Boom. Your reel is ready!Case #3:Your camera feed contains pictures of all sorts of wacky detail that caught your attention. What can you add to that? Either scenery, or yourself interacting with the detail you’re capturing. The idea is, like in storytelling — we can set the context by showing where we are, then show ourselves in this context, and then show the detail to complete the “picture”, so to speak.———What is YOUR camera feed full of?In this account I share all I know about visual storytelling, as well as “fast and dirty”ways to create visuals that connect. Stick around, you’ll find that you naturally have more things to post and share on your feeds. by @irinaleoni.co

Is he jealous?I have a lover in Italy. My husband knows — he’s the one who carries him to the car. đŸ« Long story: I had a collaboration with a 3D sculptor in Carrara, and when I was offered a commission I joked, “I’ll take the head of David.” In Italy, they don’t joke. So now I have a Carrara-marble David that legally isn’t allowed to leave the country — and a husband who hauls him up and down the stairs without complaint.PerchĂ© non parli, indeed. 🍕Thank you @gabrielfarina3d by @irinaleoni.co

My Italian husband introduced me to this coffee drink in Argentina. I will not be the one to tell his family. Apparently a few Atlanta cafĂ©s are in on it as well — at least the 3 that we’ve found so far! (I’m keeping the names to myself unless you’re local and want a taste too) What’s the most unforgivable thing your partner turned you onto? by @irinaleoni.co

The first thing that comes to mind when I look back at this year is — What a piece of work. I want to say it was ALL work. Work at the job, work on the body, a TON of inner work (spaniards say “un monton” for “a lot”and that word describes it just
perfectly). But when I was putting this post together, I saw not only the “head down working” months, the “being alone waiting for immigration months”

but also wonderful, exciting, emotional months full of celebrating with loved ones, having adventures — alone and together, and attending important family gatherings.September alone deserves at least 10 slides, but I got to try and squeeze it into just one.And how can one possibly squeeze Japan or Argentina into one slide? And all the other trips too. The trips anywhere make my life complete. I would never want to not travel. The World and the people everywhere are magical. The traditions and culture they share with us move and change me.Happy New Year, you magical being â€ïžđŸ«°đŸŒ by @irinaleoni.co
