To quote my friend @seligmanforag, this Democratic primary is truly about the many vs. the money — especially in House District 6.

While my opponent is supported (as a legislator and as a candidate) by corporations and organizations that conceal their corporate funding, I am overwhelmingly supported by the workers whose rights I already fight every day to protect.

We need your help this Saturday to canvass for a voters' initiative to adopt a graduated income tax in Colorado so that the oligarchs have to - finally - start paying a little more instead of stiffing the rest of us with the bill while they rake in eye-popping record profits. It’s official, House District 6! The final results are in, and my opponent has conceded. I will be your next representative at the State Capitol!

Immense gratitude to every delegate, donor, volunteer, friend, family member, staff member, endorser, and fellow candidate who made this win possible. This is so much bigger than me; this race was about proving that community can overcome corporate greed, and I’m honored to be part of accomplishing that mission.

Kicked off Election Day with a morning canvass in Capitol Hill for me, @senadorajulie, and @seligmanforag — two of my favorite people and closest allies on this campaign.

Thank you to every volunteer who took the day off or spent their lunch break on the doors, spreading the word one last time about the progressive Democrats on our ballot. Ballots are due by 7 PM tonight!!!!!

As Pride Month comes to an end and Election Day looms, I want to share how incredibly proud I am of all the work I’ve done advancing LGBTQ+ rights.

🏳️‍⚧️ I filed the first cases across the country and in Colorado on behalf of the federal government, seeking to have trans employees’ rights recognized under federal employment anti-discrimination laws
🏳️‍🌈 I’ve advocated for updates to out-of-state anti-discrimination laws, to explicitly include gender identity and expression
🏳️‍⚧️ I’ve represented gay and trans workers who have been discriminated against in public accommodations, medical benefits, and at work
🏳️‍🌈 I currently represent librarians and teachers across the country who were terminated for opposing homophobic and transphobic book bans

For all these efforts, I was awarded the @colgbtqbar Attorney of the Year Award in 2024. 🏆 I want to bring that same energy and devotion to tirelessly fighting for the rights of my community in HD6 and throughout this great state.
