Had fun styling these rooms (with some help from A.I. and Photoshop) for a couple of older paintings in preparation for a project that I hope to launch in the not too distant future…

I am so excited about these jeweled surface editions I’m preparing for an upcoming exhibition at the artist’s run gallery, Peep Space @peep_space in Tarrytown, NY. The exhibition is titled “Divination” and these pieces are highly spiritual in nature. One features a beetle with a keyhole at its center, a symbol of unlocking the door to personal growth and change, and the other depicts a phoenix rising from its own ashes, an image I made about a near death experience that I had and the personal changes I made in its wake. Both artworks were made with metallic, color-shift, and holographic pigments, materials for which I have developed my own processes of working. Stay tuned for more details about the exhibition “Divination,” which opens later this fall and is where you can buy both of these piece! #art #contemporaryartwork #contemporaryartist #spiritual #magic by @iris__jaffe

Had a wonderful time at the “Tarot! Renaissance Symbols, Modern Visions,” show at the Morgan Library in midtown NYC. It’s a fascinating exhibition, showcasing tarot decks from the Renaissance to contemporary times, and housed in a stunning historic library to boot. It’s definitely worth the visit if you like Tarot!! by @iris__jaffe

Loving how the holographic-metallic section of this almost finished portrait of Yayoi Kusama came out and dancing in the studio - because why not? Wearing a mask, because art stuff can be toxic and safety comes first! Happy Friday, everyone! #art #artist #painting #contemporaryart #contemporaryartist by @iris__jaffe
