Society loves to tell women that to be taken seriously, you have to tone your femininity down. Yet, femininity isn’t linked to a lack of intelligence. I’m a software engineer with a MSc in Computer Science. We can love floral perfumes, gel manicures, and curling our hair on a Sunday while building an empire and saying ”no” without overexplaining yourself.

I was very lucky to win a ticket for #WITswe2026 held on 22 April. I am overjoyed to be part of a community that uplifts and empowers women in tech.

When 3000 women come together to learn, connect and inspire each other, the energy is unmatched.
