There is suffering
but there is also love
and the latter is what saves us, time and time again
We have loved and we have hurt
we can create anew with each rising day
We hold shame and bury it
very rarely does it see the light
If one acquires love then one must be uncovered
So uncover me, slowly
and cradle me, carefully
For I am fragile, sensitive to touch
Show me where it hurts and I will care for it
let me mend what is broken
We reveal ourselves, unsparingly
and it is a beautiful meeting place
where no one leaves in a haste
Patiently, you stay by @irisviollette

Submit and surrender yourself
to the divine embers of reverence
Hear its hushed voice plead
with unarmored credence
And bathe in the stillness
it cordially offers
Don’t withdraw from its sight
Bury your head in the arms before you
You may hesitate
You may enquire
It is yours to lay hold of
Lean into the allurement that beckons
the one that pulses through your veins by @irisviollette
