A tourist doesn’t see anything he’s like that. So a tourist means he’s looking for entertainment if everything is comfortable, he will like it if things are not comfortable he will complain. A traveller means he’s come to experience the place that’s how my understanding of travel is. He’s not come to see good places whatever it is he wants to experience the way it is so there is more profound to the traveller than the tourist because tourist doesn’t see anything.
Travel means you want to face unfamiliar situations. It is about breaking out of known, settled atmospheres. So travel should be a little adventurous – not in search of comfort but in search of exposure and new experiences. This is what spirituality also means, that you are constantly in new terrain. 1st stop: Rwanda is the country of hills, mountains, forests, lakes, laughing children, markets of busy people, drummers, dancers, artisans and craftsman. These people are manage to squeeze thousands of hills and millions of people into 26,338 square kilometres. They are one. They speak one language. They have one history.
In recent times, through, genocide has cast a dark shadow over their lives and torn them apart. This chapter is a bitter part of their lives but one we all must remember, for those who were lost and for the sake of the future.
This is about the past and future
Our nightmares and dreams
Our fear and hope
