Homegoing services for my Father will be held this Friday (June 26th) starting at 8:30am. For those who are able to attend in person, the address to the funeral home are posted below. There will also be a live YouTube link available later this week for those who can attend virtually.

Daddy, no words could ever truly capture how amazing you were. You were tough, but fair. Your exterior at times seemed impenetrable, but your heart was soft full of love. Today marks 5 years since you left Earth to be in your resting place. Despite the time that has passed, it still feels like I just got the call from Dad. But I won't make this message about my feelings because the pain won't subside even though I am getting them out.

Micah picked out these flowers for you. He said "I feel like she would love these colors." It is amazing that at 5 years old he could make that connection, although he only met you when he was 6 months. I also let him that you would sing this hymn so beautifully (he loves it too).

Words could never express how much I miss your sweet, soothing voice (especially when times are rough). You did not always have a solution, but your encouraging and meaningful words were enough to let me know all will be well.
