She came to me after losing 40 locs. FORTY. 😳🔐

After someone attempted to combine locs throughout her head, she experienced significant loss—and she told me the experience affected her so deeply that she ended up seeking therapy.

That’s why I need stylists to understand:

**It’s NEVER “just hair” when someone trusts you with a journey they’ve spent YEARS building.**

Combining locs isn’t automatically the problem. **Knowing when, where and HOW to manipulate the foundation matters.** 🪡🧠

This appointment wasn’t about giving her a cute style.

It was about **reattachment. Reconstruction. Education. And helping her feel like herself again.** 🥹🔐

40 locs later… look at that foundation. 👏🏽

Locticians: THIS is why I teach technique before trends. The more you understand loc development, crochet and reconstruction, the better equipped you are when somebody sits in your chair needing more than a retwist.

🎓 Want to learn these techniques inside my **Master Loc Healer E-Course?**

Comment “HEALER” and I’ll send you the information. 🪡👇🏽

And I want to know: Would losing your locs be “just hair” to you?

She came in for starter locs.. but with THIS density, we needed to have a conversation first. 😮‍💨✨🔐

150,000+ views from sharing just a little piece of my testimony… but the love behind those views is what has me emotional this morning. 🥹🤍

People I’ve never met congratulating me, praying for me, and telling me my story touched them. Please know I sincerely appreciate every single one of you. Y’all feel like family. 🫶🏽

I thank God I answered the call, and I’m keeping my focus on Him. I can’t do ONE thing without consulting Him—and when I try, I end up right back like, “Lord… what am I supposed to be doing?” 😭🙌🏽

I’m putting the last touches on the new suite, and I got a little something today 👀 Should I show y’all now or make you wait for the full reveal? Comment “SHOW US” if you want a sneak peek! ✨ by @irockyalocks

…😮‍💨Not Worrying as much rn Ty JESUS! Came so far I will try to keep it about hair 😩😂💪🏽👑 by @irockyalocks

Cried Every Tear on the way there… then walked into what I prayed for. 😭🙌🏾

These clips are only a minute, but baby, the journey behind them… I couldn’t fit that in a reel.

Me in the car singing “I Told the Storm,” trying to get the words out through my tears. Then me walking into my new salon suite, watching another piece of my prayers become something I can actually touch.

A few finishing touches left, and I’m already overwhelmed with gratitude. God, You brought me here. Even when I was tired. Even when I couldn’t see how it was going to work out. You gave these hands a gift, and You gave me the strength to keep using it. 🤎

If you’re crying your way through something this morning, I pray you get your own moment of walking through a door you once could only pray about. Keep going. 🥹🙏🏾

God gave me these skills, and I’m grateful I get to teach them to you. Loc care, crochet, repairs—learn with me through my Master Loc Healer E-course. There may be more possibility in your hands than you realize.

Your #1 Master Loc Healer in the DMV… don’t be mad at me. 🖤👑 by @irockyalocks

The streets calling and she still installing 😭🙄 It’s the impatience for me… apparently I thought I booked a superhuman 😂

My girl got me together in 2hrs though! Stay tuned for the finish results and photo shoot 💅🏽 Book with @braidedbythebrat and catch her $115 wig install special! DM her for availability—tell her Yaya sent you! 🖤 by @irockyalocks

Sometimes the best solution is the simplest one.

Her locs were shorter in the front and much longer in the back. Instead of adding extensions to the shorter locs, we cut the back to create a more even length. Now everything can grow together naturally without adding extra weight or maintenance.

Not every loc journey needs more hair—sometimes it just needs the right plan. 🖤

Your retwist can’t do all the work, y’all 😂

Washing your locs 2–3 times between appointments helps remove buildup, keeps your scalp fresh and gives your locs a better environment to develop. Don’t wait until your next appointment to wash!

Need help with wash day? Shop our Ginger Loc Shampoo and sensitive-scalp brush through the link in bio. 🖤✨
