THIS WAS MENTAL. 🌴💥 For the second year in a row: SOLD OUT. Packed grandstands, endless sunshine, a world premiere, an official world record, and a grid full of world-class drivers. From the outside, it looked almost like a flawless event. Behind the scenes, it sometimes felt like wearing a scratchy wool sweater. But that's what it always is: THE. WORLDS. BEST. DRIFT. FESTIVAL.

The fact that we're still here after 8 years, celebrating together for the 7th time, is only possible because of all the fans, drivers, IRON DRIFT KING team, DRIFT MASTERS team, volunteers, emergency services, business partners, supporters, family members and friends. Countless gears have to mesh perfectly across different nationalities, with everyone striving to give nothing less than their very best.

The road to this year's event was especially challenging for us. Personally, I've also been through one of the most significant and emotional years of my life, filled with major changes. Not every problem one carries is visible. The world around us is changing rapidly and we want IRON DRIFT KING to be your constant. A place to escape. A home away from home. A place where you can feel free and simply be happy: Drift Island.

In the coming days, everyone who attended will have the chance to take part in a survey. Your feedback is incredibly important to us and will help us make the experience even better. We've got big plans for 2027 - after all, we'll be on the road to our 10th anniversary in 2028.

I'm incredibly proud of the entire IDK team. ❤️ You are the backbone and the heart of this festival - including everyone who isn't in this photo. We’ll see you again in 2027 from August 19 to 21! 🏖️🚘💨
