Me & recent shenanigans…. 🩷 by @ironically_ebony

Yesterday’s Groundswell bowl comp was epic. I stupidly went out the night before (never rocking up hungover again I promise!!), rocked up late and sadly missed the under 9’s division. 🥴😭
Thankfully the groms are the most forgiving beings ever and weren’t mad at me 😅🙏🏻❤️

I humbly apologise and will endeavour to make it to next years comp on time, bright eyed and bushy tailed! 🙏🏻

Loved watching everyone participate and love the overall spirit of our wonderful skate community.

Huge appreciation to Freestyle now for the hard administrative work they had to do to get the comp happening this year.

Thanks to all the sponsors, supporters & to Amber who’s been the diligent DJ since it started.

Nearly finished giving my sponge bob kicker a skateable ‘face lift’. Which also means this will be the cleanest it will ever look 😂

Started working on my next custom grip - for me! ☺️

My favourite colour is cornflower blue & as a result I’ve always favoured my blue themed grip jobs. I’m already in love with how (literally by chance) the colours of my modified spitfire grip looks against the paint job of my board. 💙🩵💜

Almost want to leave it as is lol 😂

Stay tuned to see the finished result 🤟🏻 by @ironically_ebony

If you have seen the movie ‘The Meg’,
you’ll get the fun take I did with the back graphic.

I had already painted the bg of this board before my friend Mel asked me to do a custom job for her - and as I was contemplating on what I should do and having watched the movie only nights before, the idea popped into my head like lightbulb and everything worked like a treat.

Not to mention Mel is a seasoned surfer so only made sense to mix her love for the ocean (er sharks haha) with the design of the board.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to do this board Mel! I’m so glad you love it and was able to give the finished board you on your birthday. 🤗🥳

Hopefully it won’t be too much longer before you can be back on your boards doing what you love most - surfing & skating. Xxxx

Felt like a creative challenge today - so I decided to try mixing my 3 passions into one - Art/craft, Skateboarding & Gardening. And from that challenge I made a little succulent planter box to put on my patio table.

I enjoyed the process thoroughly so will be making more. Made it super rough as I wanted to make it using off cuts without having to cut bits to size ect. It is also designed to eventually break down so it’s best for plants that need little water (like succulents) otherwise can put plastic pots inside

If anyone would like me to make them one let me know - can smash one out for as little as $30.

Doesn’t help I’m allergic to dating sites and would rather go skate than on a date lol 😝
