This body created life. This body did a 70.3. This body picks up my son like it’s nothing. I’m done asking it to be smaller.

Caring less and less about what other think gives us more and more freedom to live 🥰🌊💙🐠 by @ironmamahaley

I love a deal. Here’s what Ironman Philippines has actually cost me so far:

• Garmin 245 — £42 ($56 / ₱3,150 / ¥8,400)
bought broken, stayed broken, sunk cost
• Garmin 745 — £98 incl. fees ($130 / ₱7,350 / ¥19,600) minus £30 Vinted cash from selling ski pants, so really £68
• Race entry + event tee + Ironman backpack — £936.20 ($1,245 / ₱70,215 / ¥187,240)

Total spent: £1,076.20 ($1,431 / ₱80,715 / ¥215,240)
Minus what I sold: £1,046.20 out of pocket

Still to come: accommodation in Davao, roughly $300 a month for two months.

That’s it. No £4k bike. No £400 watch. A full Ironman on a toddler-and-turbo-trainer budget.
