I’ve been working with some very good people here in the 2A space and when I discovered the National African American Gun Association, I knew it was something I wanted to be apart of. My only issue was that I didn’t have a local chapter in my state (WI) that I could associate with. So after long chains of emails, gathering interested prospect, and collaborating with great people like Ray and @prolific_arms, we have officially started and chartered the Louis Hughes Gun Club - Milwaukee NAAGA chapter. If you reside in the state of WI and want to find a great community of 2A enthusiasts who want to support and grow our community to protect our families, our loved one and ourselves, we encourage you take a look into joining NAAGA and see what we have to offer here. Here goes the other 2 stages from last night. Did alright. Had way too many make up shots on steel. And was still hesitant with movement from the fall on the first stage. Shooting production rules because that’s what I’m gonna be shooting now instead of limited (I’ll be back for sure) so have 15 rounds instead of 17 or more takes some getting use too. Still a great match the guys (and girls). Still have a ton of work to do like staying low and keeping a strong consistent grip. But will take my notes and go back to dry fire. Live fire training this weekend so can’t wait for that taken in Beloit Rifle Club by @ironsightrowe

Yea, rule number one when shooting in a indoor range, don’t try to move like it’s an outdoor range lmao hits were good, time was shit though because of the fall and just being nervous to fall again. Did ok overall. I wasn’t first but I wasn’t last. Hope you all get as many laughs outta this as we did tonight 🤣 by @ironsightrowe

Had a ball today at @wgcpracticalshooting monthly match. Didn’t do so good on the classifier but overall I felt good about my performance. I’m still moving either really slow or really glittery so I need to work on that. All in all I shot well. Got some 2 gun stuff coming up here so gonna be preparing for that but definitely gotta master my pistol game. I’ve been shooting limited this whole time but after deep delegation with guys in my squad, I’m moving to production. Put myself on an equal playing field lol can’t ask for a better day. Was worried at first but the sun came out and never let up. Time to get back to dry fire and live fire training. Next stop: BRC Outlaw match this Wednesday. POV from the SCWPSA match on the 11th. Looking back in this footage I see so much I could have done differently. But I know for next time to be more thorough with my hits and trust my grip so I’m not taking so many make up shots unless I call it. Progress was made but still got some ways to go to hit GM level like I want. Get to test my dry fire practice this weekend at WGCs monthly match. My goal is to move fast and see even faster while maintaining a consistent grip on the gun. Time to get some dry fire practice in now 💪🏿 by @ironsightrowe

Today was a better match. Placed 6th overall. The steel on the first stage hoed me. I hit it, you can see the mark but that mfer ain’t fall. On top of the face that I threw another mike at the small target. Everything else was pretty smooth tho. The one handed stage was definitely brutal. And it was a stage from the 80s lol. Still nursing this wrist/hand situation but it feels a lot better. Gotta remember to not over grip the gun and stress my hand out. The provisional classifier was super fun too. Threw a few more makeup shots than I wanted but I wanted to ensure I got the hits (traumatized from my first official classifier 🤦🏿‍♂️) but I finished in a little over 8 seconds and only threw 1 Charlie. 5 something HF. Still got a lot of work to do but it’s coming together by @ironsightrowe

I did alright tonight at BRC Outlaw match. Steel is absolutely my weakest area right now. I just don’t get much practice with it. No excuses though, I gotta get better. Even nursing a sore hand, I shot paper pretty good I feel like. No mikes on paper. I felt like I was moving a lot better. This Glock 47 is really nice. Definitely gonna shoot some Production with it. But fun as always. Finna take a break from Dry Fire until my hand feels better but got a match Saturday so that should be dope. taken in Beloit Rifle Club by @ironsightrowe

I’ve been wanting the Glock 47 for a while now and I finally found one local to me, and boy it did not disappoint! Fresh out the box, only thing I added was the backplate and the weapon light (to fit in my holster) and added a little bit of oil and it ran perfectly. This is definitely gonna be in the rotation for my competition guns. Gonna put a Johnny Glocks trigger in there sooner or later (the stock one was just fine tho). Maybe, MAYBE update the guide rod but this beauty shoots a lot softer than the 45s. Once I got my grip in order, I was stacking alphas left and right. I’m probably gonna shoot Production with this one just because I wana stay true to iron sights and I heard through the grape vine Production is making it way back 👀. Gonna send some more lead down range tomorrow. Hopefully the bay is dried up so I can shoot it at farther distances by @ironsightrowe

Always good to get some live fire training in. Really sad I can’t shoot in the Brew City match this weekend. But I decided to take advantage of the day and get some training in earlier in the day. I gotta find my pace where I can shoot accurately but at a decent rate. I ended up slowing down significantly because I kept getting Charlie’s and even Deltas at 5 yards (very frustrating). Wanted to get my hits but transition well. I need to ensure I have a master grip and that my vision is on point. Biggest thing I wanted to work on was keeping my gun up when I enter a position and also my transitions. Where I lose time on each shot, I can work to make that time up in transition. As I get better I can shoot faster and more accurately with even better transitions. It’s all in the process. They say if you’re not mildly frustrated, did you even train hard? Well I was definitely not happy with today but still fun of course taken in Portage Rod and Gun Club by @ironsightrowe
