LASH ANALYSIS 👁️✨
A beautiful set starts with understanding the eye you’re working with.

For this client, I focused on elongating the eye while enhancing, not overpowering her natural features. I incorporated J curl toward the inner and outer sections for elongation, CC curl through the base for lift, and an all-spike design to keep the set textured and airy.

Her eye color was also a factor in the design. Rather than adding excessive density, I wanted the lashes to draw attention to her eyes and let her natural color remain the focal point. 🤎

Remember: don’t map the lash set you want to create. Map the eye that’s in front of you.

RETENTION STARTS BEFORE YOU PICK UP YOUR TWEEZERS. 👀

One of the biggest mistakes I see lash artists make is waiting until a client has bad retention to start asking questions.

Your consultation is where you should already be looking for the clues:
✨ Client’s lifestyle
✨ Skincare & products
✨ Oil/sweat exposure
✨ Lash cleansing habits
✨ Previous retention issues
✨ Natural lash condition
✨ Application history

The goal isn’t just to fix retention AFTER it becomes a problem, it’s to anticipate what could affect it and prepare your client + your application accordingly.

Good retention isn’t always about finding a “better” adhesive. Sometimes, the answer was sitting in the consultation the entire time. 👑

If you’ve ever been in my chair, you’ve probably noticed some of these 😂💜

🎧 I always have my AirPods in listening to a podcast while playing music for my clients. It honestly keeps me relaxed while lashing.

🧻 Glue nozzle wipes are probably one of my biggest must-haves! I use them to lash in layers with every set, and I feel like it’s definitely helped with my speed.

💡 Of course my content light for those after pics, tripod for TikTok lives/content, and my water because these long appointments will have you dehydrated 😂

I’m also probably one of the few lash artists that still prefers silver tip tweezers 😭 Fiber tips weren’t even a thing when I started lashing, so I’m just not used to them!

And of course my Heiress Collection trays, Crown Bond adhesive, bonder & Luxe Finish sealant because y’all know I love a good wispy/spiky set 😮‍💨💜👑

These are just a few of my personal lash must-haves!

This is why I don’t just put the longest lengths on everyone 👀

My client wears glasses, so we kept her set at 10–13mm CC curl, 0.05 for a safer, more comfortable length. 👓

We also didn’t want the lashes to overpower her features, which a longer set would’ve done. The goal was to enhance, not overwhelm😍
