Most brands don’t have a design problem. They have a clarity problem. We’ll fix that.

The machinery of the creative arts & design industry is a complex one. ⚙️ With Mira and Pranav bringing their own experiences to the conversation, there’s plenty for us to get into. From the first idea to the final brief, a whole lot of decisions go into making art and illustration work happen. Who owns the work, what it’s worth, how it translates as it grows, and how you make a living from.. well, drawing! This time at #IrregularAfters, we’re bringing artists and brand folks together to look at this system from both sides and get into the business behind the brush. Come curious. Leave with a few new perspectives (and maybe a few doodles - more on that soon). Special thanks to @get.thumpn for making the ticketing easy and helping us bring everyone together. by @irregulars.studio
POV: you turned your weird little artistic brain into a career and now… it has quarterly targets. At the next Irregular Afters, let’s talk shop. #irregularafters #panickingcuzwegotthespellinhofpanicwrong by @irregulars.studio

Independent journalism is increasingly competing for attention in an ecosystem dominated by fast-moving content, creators, and algorithm-driven feeds. For Spot On, the challenge was to build a brand that could stand out without compromising the authenticity and credibility of independent journalism. We built the identity around a bold palette of yellow and pink, paired with a distinctive toggle motion that gives the brand a sense of movement and personality across digital touchpoints. At the heart of the system is a flexible architecture of editorial “Spots” each designed around a different lens on the world: Spot News — Breaking News Top Spot — Politics Her Spot — Women & Empowerment G Spot — Sexual Health & Wellness Bright Spot — Solutions Tough Spot — Social Justice Blindspot — Uncovered Stories Hot Spot — Climate & Sustainability Job Spot — Future of Work Soft Spot — Lives from the Scene The identity is designed as a scalable system, allowing new editorial verticals to be introduced without losing the core character of the brand. A visual language built to make independent journalism feel more human, more conversational, and impossible to scroll past. Nutrition is changing - but the way we understand and access it is still catching up. When we met Spunge, the ambition was clear: redefine supplement distribution in India with a science-forward, hyper-personalised approach to everyday wellness. We built a brand that balances clinical precision with organic fluidity, spotlighting Spunge’s advanced technology and highly bioavailable solutions while making complex science feel clear, contemporary and approachable. Finance teams don’t need more dashboards. They need more time to think. As AI reshapes finance, the role of the F&A team is shifting from reporting what happened to driving what happens next. We partnered with Maximor to build a brand for that transition — an AI-native platform that connects fragmented tools, data, and workflows into one intelligent system. Inspired by the idea of connecting the dots, we developed a typography-led identity supported by a modular language of dots and circular forms that express integration, collaboration, and continuous flow. The result is a confident, future-ready brand system for a platform redefining the future of finance. Noise, a leading tech wearable player, needed to launch a sub-brand dedicated to children. The challenge was not just creating ‘kid-friendly’ visuals, but building a strategic bridge between two distinct audiences: trust-seeking parents and imagination-led children. We inherited a Logo that had a strong personality and worked closely with the team at Noise Junior to expand that into a meaningful and workable brand. Our Solution: ‘Playing with Purpose’ — redefining smart tech as a playful companion rather than a passive screen, or a distraction. We empowered exploration, positioning geofencing and motion tracking as tools for independence, not just surveillance. We developed a warm adult voice, codifying a tone that acts as a ‘reassuring adult’ for parents and a ‘tech-savvy sidekick’ for kids, effectively balancing authority with energy. We established simple, yet precise type and motion principles to ensure the brand remains coherent across everything from UI interfaces to large-scale billboards. And instead of static graphics, we envisioned a modular ‘building block’ visual language — using sharp, clear typography paired with soft, 3D graphics and vivid colours to mirror both the virtual and the tangible world. The result is a tactile, vibrant identity system that provides Noise Junior with a foundational tool kit to scale globally, without diluting the brand’s core promise of safety and wonder. How do you make transparency visible? That was the question at the heart of Arata’s rebrand. In a saturated market, Arata needed an identity that stood out while staying true to their science-led foundation. We built a visual system that balances credibility with confidence, and precision with personality. From packaging to digital, every touchpoint reinforces one truth: real science = real results. Design gets better when people talk… Irregular Afters is a gathering we plan to host once, every two months at select locations. The idea is simple: create an open, informal space where curious people come together to talk about all things design & culture. So meet us at the Afters—the space for shared thinking, exchange and open conversation #IrregularAfters by @irregulars.studio
What is Irregular Afters? A safe space to talk about all things design, culture and everything in between. Nerd out about niche things with curious people. Share unfinished thoughts. Celebrate good work. Bad work. Work nonetheless. Why? Because design shouldn’t feel isolating. Because ideas deserve conversations. Because the industry grows when we share what we know. #IrregularAfters by @irregulars.studio
