Ja fa uns dies que l'expedició cap a Veneçuela actua i volta pels centres de refugi provisionals de les persones que ho van perdre tot després del terratrèmol.

Aquesta expedició ens fa feliços en especial...
Tot va començar després d'una trucada de la @iruflama , artista veneçolana afincada entre Europa i Austràlia, que ens explicava el seu desig de retornar a la seva terra per aportar, a través del circ i l'art, moments de pau a la seva gent, que estava patint la catàstrofe.

La Iru, després d'aquella trobada, ràpidament va començar a organitzar-ho tot. És jove, motivada, amb una energia inacabable, i tot està sent fluid i preciós amb ella i el seu equip. Vam poder pagar-li el vol d'anada i també li vam fer un enviament de samarretes per vendre mentre explicava el que anava a fer als dos últims festivals d'estiu als quals tenia previst anar.

Ara ella i el seu equip necessiten fons per pagar gasoil, menjar i una habitació on s'allotgen mentre continuen fent funcions per a la població que ho va perdre tot.

In Venezuela, we always say we’re fine, regardless of the circumstances… That’s where I learnt that as long as we’re alive, we’re fine… but right now we’re not fine… after the earthquake, all of us Venezuelans have felt as though a part of our hearts has also trembled and been shattered…
Tragedies hurt; knowing that so many people are in need hurts; feeling powerless hurts; losing someone you love hurts; uncertainty hurts; injustices, years of crisis and frustration all hurt… In short… everything hurts… And although I’m realising that, culturally speaking, I grew up in a country where putting on a brave face is part of everyday life… Today I’m starting to see sadness as a teacher, to let it be without guilt, and not as something horrible that I shouldn’t feel because ‘I’m fine’ or that I must make disappear as quickly as possible.
Feeling that pain is necessary now. Accepting all the feelings and going through the process of transforming everything into love is so profound and intense… and at the
same time so beautiful….. ❤️‍🩹

It is impossible to write a manual on how to live, because the universe is constantly evolving … Human existence is paradoxical by nature. If you want to work on a relationship, you need to work on yourself. If you want to cultivate your individuality, the best way to do so is in relation to others.
