There’s something beautiful about reaching an age where you’ve lived enough life to know what you like, what you want, and how to create it for yourself.

It’s not about having fewer problems.
It’s about trusting yourself more.

Because you’ve been through hard seasons before. You’ve figured things out. You’ve rebuilt, adjusted, changed direction, and kept going.

I’ll make it work. I always have. by @iryna_bevz

I love each and every one of these girls. 💙💛

I know it takes a lot of people to create a festival, but there are always those who stand at the very beginning — when you have a crazy ambitious plan.

In the last picture, you’ll see one of those moments: when the four of us created a completely different vision of the festival, the one that we know today.

Bigger. More ambitious. Louder.

We had one clear goal: Jacksonville needs to start talking about Ukraine.

We also wanted to create a festival that could live beyond us — something other people could step into, take leadership of, and continue building throughout the years.

We wanted to bring as many talented Ukrainians as possible together and give them a stage to show what they can do.

And somewhere along the way, we became friends.

But behind the friendship, creativity, and beautiful pictures is also real responsibility. As each of us carries financial and reputational responsibility for the festival and for the decisions we make together. That requires a different level of trust.

People often ask how we make it work. I think the answer is simple: we know each other’s strengths, and we let those strengths work for the benefit of the Ukrainian community in Jacksonville.

We don’t compete because we are absolutely self-sufficient beyond the festival. We trust each other. We give each other space to shine. And most importantly, we genuinely want each other to succeed.

Maybe that’s the real secret behind everything we’ve built together. 💙💛 taken in Jacksonville, Florida by @iryna_bevz

Vibe.
