what I've been listening to/ creating/ reading/ enjoying this past week(ish) >>>
🩷🎧👩‍🎨📖🥰

I finally got my hands (ears?) on the new @ninakenwood and it was, as predicted, bloody fantastic! I am a sucker for a forced proximity romance and this totally hit the spot 🥰

And we're re-reading a favourite by @annabelmonaghan 'It's a Love Story', which is coincidentally also a forced proximity romance! Obviously I loved it when I read it physically last year, and it still hits as hard on audio! 🎧🫶🏻

It's no secret that Sterling Point is a favourite show of mine, so I just HAD to commemorate it in my scrapbook, and I'm very proud of how it turned out! It's one of the first spreads I've done just by flicking through magazines and ripping out anything that felt like it fit the shows vibes, and I'm obsessed with how it turned out! Taking me back to my childhood scrapbooking days! 📖👩‍🎨

I have a bug-themed dress up party at the end of the month and work had an abundance of cardboard, so I took the opportunity to upcycle some into a pair of wings! Still undecided as to which bug I'll be, but at least it will be able to fly! 🐛🦋

Romanticising my appointment days by taking my current physical read 'Bad Words' by @rioghnachrobinson to a cafe ☕️ This book is tremendous and such a great dissection of the literary industry with a side of rivals-to-lovers goodness, and I'm excited to read more!

Another day, another solo date – this time to see the inimitable @oliviadeano live, and all I can say is WOW! She is a literal goddess IRL and sounds just as incredible live as recorded. reading The Treasure House by Amy Matthews ( @amymatthewsauthor ) was an absolute treasure to say the least, and I knew the moment I started reading that it was going to be a very special book 🩷

I loved seeing Zoe transform her new house and uncover the stories held within its walls, the Anne of Green Gables references sprinkled throughout, and, of course, the found family! every page was full of the most beautiful writing – in fact, my copy of the book is riddled with underlines under my favourites! basically, I love this book and I'm so grateful to Shannon ( @shannongrey__ )for recommending it to me!!

my next creative project: a Sisterhood of the Travelling Journal with six other bookish crafty girls around Australia! 💌✨

challenging myself to try a group journal has been great way for me to channel my creativity into a community project and connect with more like-minded people across the country! I'm already so excited to get to know each of the girls through their journals, and to share parts of my world with them too 🩷

my very first youtube video is live! eeee!

spend a cosy Melbourne winter week with me exploring op shops with my mum, seeing the penguins at St Kilda, working a shift at the bookshop, and getting into some cosy hobbies! ⭐️

this is something I've wanted to do since I started watching youtube as a teen, and I was always too scared to try. this is for younger me. we're feeling the fear and doing it anyway 🩷
