Still can’t believe this waterfall is in Washington! 🌊 ♥
It’s totally worth the 4 hour drive from Seattle.

Would you visit?

📍Palouse Falls State Park
🎟 Discovery Park Pass required or $10 for day pass.
🌲Located 4 hours from Seattle
🚗 Parking is very limited but most of the visitors come in and go.
🥾0.7 mile out and back. If you do not want to hike there is an overlook from where you can enjoy the beautiful views of waterfalls. PLEASE stay on the trail!!!
🐶 Allowed but must be on leash
🧺 There’s few picnic tables for you to use especially if you are on long road trip.

If you do plan to visit Palouse Falls State Park from Seattle, we drove to the city of Walla Walla first. For any wine 🍷 lovers, Walla Walla is the capital of Washington wine country and then ⬇️

Visit Lyons Ferry State Park
Palouse Falls State Park
Steptoe Butte State Park
And if time permits visit Spokane

Fun fact about Palouse falls:

Palouse Falls is amongst the last active waterfalls on the Ice Age floods path, carved around 13,000 years ago.
