Back in December, @wavegrove was gracious enough to send me an early copy of Mariform (a collaboration with @tape_over) before its official release. I was so impressed with the plugin that I happily wrote a testimonial for what I believe is one of the most unique saturators on the market.

Seven months later, I find myself deep in a mix, instinctively reaching for Mariform to add a little warmth and weight to one of the tracks in my session. It was in that moment that I realized just how seamlessly it had become part of my workflow.

@wavegrove, you’ve outdone yourselves (again), and honestly, I can’t even say that I’m surprised.

You pour your heart and soul into every one of your plugins, and it’s obvious to anyone who uses them. From the gorgeous GUIs to the rich sound, you are, without a doubt, one of the finest companies in professional audio.

You continue to raise the bar for excellence in the world of audio.

Thank you for crafting the tools that remind me why I love what I do.

Last Saturday evening, the sound of Chuck Mangione was captured right here on Catalina Island … An Evening of Magic, Live in the Avalon Ballroom 🌌

His much missed spirit was brought to life beautifully by a band led by his own peers: @grantgeissman 🎸 and @gapmangione 🎹. At the flugel, a cat from the jazz-side of things, @bbjazziii 🎺 The entirety of the band also included @kevinaxtbass, @quinnj_music, and @isaacjohnklein

Haunting, mystical, the 8-12 minute album cuts that us Mangione heads love and hold dear. So affecting that Producer Art Good is likely naming this one his JazzTrax Performance of the Year.

We may no longer have Chuck, but we sure do have his band. Watch this whole reel for a cut of Gap Mangione, at 88, still working them keys like a madman as well as Grant Geissman TEARING IT UP at the guitar.

Listening to it again puts us in the Land of Make Believe… 🏝️🌊

Today marks my 7 year work anniversary!!

@stevetyrell you have been such a shining light in my life and I am so grateful to have you in it.

We’ve had some pretty incredible adventures together: performing at Café Carlyle, The Jazz Cruise and in Monteverdi, Tuscany, to name a few. I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world.

You’ve always said that you graduated from Bacharach University, and I feel honored to have attended Tyrell University.

You’re one of a kind and I couldn’t have had a better education in this business than the one I’ve received from you.

God Bless you, your family, and everyone who has made me feel welcome in your home and in your lives.

You’re one of my best friends and I’m beyond honored to have you in my life.

I love you, man. 🫡🥂

I had such a wonderful time with @nickhexum and @kenny_feinstein of @watertowerband last night.

@nickhexum’s take on Billie Holiday’s “(In My) Solitude” is stellar and such a treat to hear live. Nick, you’ve truly made this version your own. Congratulations on the upcoming release of your 3rd EP.

Kenny, fantastic performances from you, Nick, and everyone in @watertowerband at Echo Park Lake and @theredwoodbar
