so many of you have been wondering what I’ve been up to…

…and I really am sorry for not being clearer about communicating that…

but anyway, here’s my answer of what the past couple months have looked like

such a blessing to do heart-deep work with people I love and to invite others into the midst of it all

also, the background song is an unreleased one by @timfikes3 & @timmy.fikes … let ‘em know if you want it streaming, I definitely do! by @isaacnelliott

YALL BEEN ASKIN’

SO TIME TO START TELLIN’

many of you probably knew this already, but our sweet lil family has moved back to Jackson!

more info on what exactly I’m doing to come, but y’all best believe Brooke and I are beyond excited to be back in this community! by @isaacnelliott

what books are you trying to read before the end of the year??

if I could assign required reading, this would be on my shortlist..I’ve been procrastinating on making this video because I still don’t feel like I can perfectly encapsulate its beauty!

Fujimura’s words are a balm for the soul of one who longs to create alongside the Creator and I couldn’t be more thankful to have read it at this point in my life

thank you, Makoto for sharing such great wisdom and inspiration with us all and I cannot wait to have a conversation whether here or in heaven one day

also, pegasus art credit to the amazing @sylviebakerart

stick around til the end to see what I actually mean, it’s for your good..I promise

these three books have been extremely formative for me and I pray the same for you if you decide to pick one up!

ironic how energized I am after spending the weekend in “the city that never sleeps”

genuinely so grateful to all those (@jordandeen , @joshuajdunn , and others) who put so much time and effort into putting this conference together and I couldn’t recommend it more

seeing God’s beauty on display through the art of others is always so special and I look forward to going back up to NYC next year!

welcome back to the Office!

we have our first featured athlete this week…meet my friend, Ty Feagley!

here’s some beauty he saw in the wayside of his week and stick around til the end to hear more about him and his heart behind why he creates

Ty is an extremely gifted singer-songwriter and the music over the top of this video happens to be one of my favorite songs by him!

feeling old-fashioned when it comes to photography is honestly exactly how you should feel

even though I primarily use digital cameras, having an analog mindset of being allowed a specific number of shots helps me to be more selective in how I take photos and practice self-control

printing’s the same way, I might not be printing every photo, but I’m archiving the ones I’d be proud to put in a physical portfolio..or photobook👀

anyway, TAKE PHOTOS AND PRINT ‘EM!!

books like these force us to sit in the midst of our plight as sinful humans, sometimes to the point of actually feeling bad

the point isn’t to stay there and wallow though, it’s to lift our eyes to one who set the perfect example in His time on earth and seek to become more like Him

these books helped me to come to terms with the ways I am tempted, the parts of myself I might have been unaware of, and gave me encouragement as to how I should pursue the Lord while dealing with sin in my life

any books y’all would add? any more recs you’d like to see?
