John 4:13-14

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This isn’t my usual type of post, but I’ve decided I would like to share something.

A lot of times we tend to rely on physical things for happiness, whether it’s sports, people, or food. For me it’s sports and I have idolized baseball almost my whole life. Anyone who knows me knows that’s just about all I talk about, but what I’ve learned this summer is baseball isn’t very reliable. I’ve personally had a terrible summer, I’ve hit bad, haven’t fielded well, and on top of that I am getting surgery because I tore my labrum.

I guess my point is things come and go, people come and go, and through that the only constant thing we have is God. We can’t rely on people to do what God has promised. God loves you when you’re 4 for 4 the same as when you’re 0 for 4. Keep your head up don’t miss the blessings he gives you along the way. Because this summer has been a blessing in disguise. I thank God for this summer and the relationships I built. I have no idea what my future holds, I don’t even know what I’m eating for dinner, but regardless it’s in Gods hands. So why not trust him?
I love my family ❤️

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
