Featured Book Review No. 2,104:
Harklights
Written & Illustrated by Tim Tilley @timbertilleytales
Published by Usborne Publishing on May 13, 2021
Recorded by Ulverscroft Ltd.
Listening Length: 5 hours and 14 minutes
Read by Isaac Stanmore @isaacstanmore

Wick tirelessly works day and night at the Harklights Match Factory and Orphanage for the tyrannical Old Ma Bogey. To cope with his harsh reality and lack of freedom, he carves life-like models out of matchsticks. His life changes when a magpie drops an acorn cradle with a tiny baby inside, which leads him to a chance encounter with the magical forest spirits called Hobs. They offer him a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity-to come and live with them in the forest.

Unfortunately not all the Hobs are keen on this idea and also Old Ma Bogey won’t let Wick go without a fight.

This was a heartwarming fantasy book about friendship and good stewardship of nature.

🌟🌟🌟🌟 out of 5 GREAT

@zi_nori_ is an absolute magician. Getting to handpick every detail and then suprise @missollie with all the little touches was unreal.

And when you pick a best man like @mikemccaskill of course you both rock up in custom @uminori.atelier unplanned

Last month we made history.

@onefour_official first ever headline Sydney show, at @cityrecitalhall

I could not be prouder of the team, our incredible guards from @shield_security and Sheridan Consulting, who worked with us to deliver something no one has ever done before. What a night for the City, and for the fans. taken in City Recital Hall Angel Place by @isaacstanmore
