It has been a life changing experience dancing at Oneonta. When I first came here, I would have never imagined the dancer I could have become. I was scared, and not confident in who I was as a dancer or a person, I was also completely in awe of how people danced here and how much talent there was, and I wondered if I could ever amount to a fraction of what was in front of me. 3 years and 6 shows later and Goodrich became my home, Chase and Alumni a playground, and these people became my family. I have grown immensely, and reconnected with a love for dance so deep inside of me. To all my friends - thank you for accepting and loving me as I am, I was terrified to drop into a group of people already established and close, but you took me in without skipping a beat and I’ve grown so close with you all; every laugh, smile, hug, or compliment has never gone unnoticed and I will carry these memories with me everywhere I go. @liagsz_ truly I would not be an ounce of who I am if I did not become your little. You pulled out a potential in me I never ever believed existed. I looked up to dancers like you my entire life, and to have you in my corner these years has been a blessing and honor. Every time I said “No, I can’t, I’m scared..” you always came back at me with every reason why I was capable, and a plan for how to do it. No one has pushed me like you have and I thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me. I never knew what my plan was going to be after college, and I still fully don’t, but what I do know is I want to keep dancing until my body doesn’t allow it, and continue to teach and pass on all of the things I’ve learned along the way. I’m sad to be closing my chapter dancing here at Oneonta with @oneontastatedanceteam and @terpsoneonta , but I know this is only the beginning of my journey as a dancer. I love this company, I love my team, and I love Oneonta forever🏡💐❤️ taken in Oneonta, New York by @isabellaagalan
