These past couple of days have been the worst of my life. Losing you this soon is something I never could’ve imagined.
You were only 8 months old. In May, I was so nervous to get a kitten — I knew how much responsibility it would be. But choosing you was one of the best decisions I ever made. I brought you home at 8 weeks old, my shy little boy who was scared to come out and you turned into the baby who never left my side. We became so close. I know we were meant to find each other. Raising you was one of the happiest, most rewarding parts of my life.

I know I’ll see you again one day. And I know you’re still with me somehow. I will never forget you, and I’ll miss you for the rest of my life.
