2026 NCEA National Runner Ups

This team and this week still leave me speechless. The hard work, unconditional love, grit, relentlessness, and faith this team displayed was nothing short of incredible. I have never been more proud to be surrounded by a group of girls like this.

While Championship Saturday did not end the way we imagined, it was still such a special day. From our bubble runout tunnel, to tears of joy, to the biggest prayer circle we have ever had, it is a day I will never forget. Even when we were down at the half, the fight never stopped. Our hunt seat squad carried us from a 3-7 deficit to a 10-10 finish. Losing a tiebreaker always hurts, but these girls handled it with so much class and heart.

I also want to give a huge shoutout (again) to the amazing horses I was blessed to ride: Giallo, Bruno, and Tuni. They gave me everything they had, which is all a girl could ever ask for. I was a 73 on day one, a 72.8 on day two, and a 72.5 on day three (with a one-point penalty I unfortunately will never forget lol). Because of these incredible horses and the rides they let me guide them through, I was honored to be nominated to the All Championship Team.

Running in an arena for a National Championship with 43 girls and their parents scream for you is a feeling I will treasure for the rest of my life.

Thank you to my teammates for a year I will never forget, to our staff for their unwavering belief in us, and to the best university in the world for giving us the opportunity to compete. It is an honor to represent Texas A&M and what it stands for. Thank you to my amazing parents for driving down to witness it all. Thank you to all the parents, Alumni and fans at home for the support, it was felt dearly! Lastly, thank you to our competitors. Each group was insanely talented and showed us amazing sportsmanship that did not go unnoticed!

Luckily, I have one year left. We have unfinished business, and I could not be more excited to do it alongside these girls and for this university.

moments we prayed for

I am still speechless! Last Saturday we broke history! For the first time in program history we won the SEC Championship.

I will forever be grateful for every moment that made that possible. Whether it’s the funny moments at workouts, or the countless hours at practice. Each moment and each girl made this special.

Thank you to each and every person who supported us. To each of my teammates, the love you have showed me is something that is indescribable. There is no bigger blessing than stepping foot into an area with your teammates unwavering faith in you. You girls are incredible.

Thank you to our amazing competitors for pushing us to our best and be so kind to all of us! Thank you to all the girls who came before us and laid the foundation for this team today. This win was as much yours as it is ours!

Lastly, thank you Lord. You have blessed this group with so much. We have prayed for a moment like this for years. The delivery of it was beyond special and perfect just like we knew it would always be. Thank you for these girls, and the opportunity to do what we love, with people we love, for a University that is so special!
