Grizzly is a @covergirl !! 🐻🎨💅🏻

So sweet & surreal to be the featured alumni for the newest publication of @pitenvironment @uofmichigan Crossroads magazine.

Funny how everyone’s reminiscing on 2016 because that’s the year I realized I wanted to bet on my talents and pursue a career in arts. In 2016 I was accepted into @umstamps and @pitenvironment to pursue a dual degree.

10 years later I’m so honored and excited to have the opportunity to reflect on some really cool accomplishments and continue to dream up more ideas for the future.

I feel really lucky to be able to create this path. Thank you to all my sweet friends and family for the support. 🥰❤️🎨

Also in other exciting news, I am going to be teaching a 6 week Intro to Watercolor Class @frissupplyshop starting in late February! Thursday nights 5:30-7:30. More info is linked in @colorwheelcafe bio! Registration link in my bio as well.

My art will also soon be for sale at @terrabagels downtown and @ohhellogr for cards and paintings!!

AND @ohhellogr will also be hosting my @artprize pieces once again this fall! Thank you to all of these amazing GR businesses for supporting my art dreams! 🌙🎨 by @isabelmaternowski

Some final photos from artprize takedown day! Thank you so much to everyone who voted and continues to be so sweet and supportive!! The flamingo 🦩 found a new home to the most flamingo loving couple. He’s surprising his wife with it for sweetest day and came to pick up the painting in a head to toe flamingo outfit. It’s hard to say goodbye to my paintings sometimes but makes it better when they are being adopted into such a loving home. The Oriole, Coral, and Hummingbird have also found a new home. The bear is happy to be back in its natural habitat. ❤️🎨🥰☀️ Thank you @artprize for having me!! And thank you @ohhellogr for being such a lovely venue!! Stay tuned for painting workshops and sales! taken in Oh, Hello Co. Paper & Gifts by @isabelmaternowski

We had a great time as an ArtPrize venue. For us, the art doesn’t stop there, though!

We have work from all kinds of artists and makers in both The Elevated Market and Glasshouse! It’s the perfect place to pick up locally made pieces, a gift for that one person who has everything, and something totally unexpected. taken in Grand Rapids, Michigan by @isabelmaternowski
