Never thought talking to you yesterday would be the last time I’d hear your voice or see you. @kingajadams

Im having a hard time writing this knowing your name is attached to it…….

We’ve been through so much together. My big cousin, my best friend before I even knew what a best friend was, my brother, my true partner in crime the first person to fight with me and fight for me.

I’m proud of you for never giving up. You’re still the only person I know who could be the life of the party and still can’t dance 😂. And you’re still the best drummer in the world, and I stand on that.

We talked about everything from who was better, Melo or Kobe, to life plans, personal ambitions, and holding each other accountable for keeping the promises we made to ourselves and our dreams.

You made growing up so much better for me. We definitely took “living life to the fullest” to another level. Thank you for always being there and believing in me when it felt like nobody else did even if sometimes it wasn’t by choice because Mama said you had to. 😂

I can still hear my mama cussing us out and, in the same sentence, telling us how much she believed in us. But I know she’s got you up there now. I feel so blessed to even have the conversation we did.

Damn, man… I’m going to miss you. I love you to death.

To Leroy E. Adams III, also known as AJ:
Our memories will never die, and your little brother will always have your back no matter what.

Rest in Heaven, AJ. 🕊️

P.S. Tell my mama I love her and miss her, and give her a big kiss on the forehead for me. ❤️ by @isaiahstarling
