🇺🇸I had the privilege of arranging and recording on Gloria Estefan's album, BRAZIL305, with Mauricio Guerrero Jr. That album ended up winning Best Tropical Album of the Year at the Grammys in 2021, and I finally received my certificate this week! What a humbling reminder of this amazing experience, and I feel so lucky to have been a part of it. I want to take this opportunity to thank Mauricio Guerrero for inviting me to be a part of this special project. And thank you, Gloria Estefan, for including me in this incredible journey. It's an honor!

Mateus Asato 2026 China Tour Bassist — Isaias Elpes🎸
Isaias Elpes is one of Los Angeles‘ most accomplished bassists, spanning pop, jazz, funk, R&B, world music and rock — widely regarded as a truly versatile low-end master.
In 2016, he won the Grand Prize for Bass in Lee Ritenour’s ”Six String Theory Competition,“ a victory that launched his LA career. Trained under legendary bass master Abraham Laboriel, Isaias developed a distinctive voice that blends deep groove sensibility with effortless improvisation across genres.
His list of collaborators speaks for itself — Gloria Estefan, Sergio Mendes, Lee Ritenour, and Brian McKnight. Beyond touring, he co-arranged tracks on Estefan‘s Grammy Award-winning album BRAZIL305 and serves as Music Director for Pia Toscano.
