friend i recently read my own writing aloud for the first time in a very long time, specifically a poem written last month that i recorded while listening to the song“Girl at party” by Picnic. the second half is a shitty recording of me covering “You Can Have It All” by Yo La Tengo. it’s rough around the edges and unrefined, but feels true. so many niche memories and sentiments simultaneously relevant to my teenage self and current life are present here. some of the video clips were taken as long as a decade ago, others taken a few weeks ago. it’s all about love/friendship in different iterations. by @isavelz_

celebrated the passage of time in 2022 by wearing several big rings to mark the occasion, really we did that everyday because it’s nice to pick and choose and pair them to the mood. lately there are other things that are fitting, apt beyond belief, wow! what a way to start the beginning of every week, truly. by @isavelz_
