Most fashion designers are told to โ€œjust start reaching out to buyers.โ€
But wholesale is a system โ€” and most people are entering it without understanding how it actually works.

ISC was created to change that.

Weโ€™re building a platform for designers who want to grow with intention and understand the real mechanics behind wholesale, sales strategy, pricing, buyer psychology, line development, market positioning, and long-term brand growth.

Real industry insight from years of placing brands in stores around the world.

If youโ€™re serious about building a brand that lasts, follow along and join the waitlist via the link in bio.

Founded by two Sales Directors that want to share their knowledge with designers ready to expand their reach.

Sabrina and Karina have both had countless designers reach out looking for guidance in growing their brands. This is where ISC was born - from a place of wanting to share the wealth of knowledge that has been gained from years on the ground connecting brands with retailers.

There is a reason the brands with the strongest followings donโ€™t only invest in marketingโ€”they invest in community.

Community creates trust. Trust creates loyalty. Loyalty creates growth.

As an emerging brand, community doesnโ€™t have to start with hundreds of people. It starts with the people already around you. Your existing customers, friends, collaborators, industry peers, and supporters are the foundation. Make them feel seen. Give them reasons to gather. Invite them into your journey.
Then, create opportunities for new people to discover your brand.
Hosting activations during key moments-fashion markets, trade shows, pop-ups, cultural events, or city-wide celebrations, allows you to introduce your brand to people who may have never found you online. These in-person touchpoints create memorable experiences that digital marketing alone canโ€™t always replicate.

Community isnโ€™t about selling at every interaction. Itโ€™s about creating spaces where people feel connected to your vision, your values, and each other.

Because in the end, people donโ€™t just buy products.
They join communities they believe in.

A โ€œdream storeโ€ on paper isnโ€™t always a dream partner in practice.

Before putting all your energy into landing a retailer, ask around. Other designers, sales reps, showrooms, or industry peers who already work with them may be able to tell you what the relationship is actually like.

Do they communicate well? Pay on time? Require consignment? Offer payment terms that are difficult for a small brand to carry?

That kind of firsthand insight can save you time, protect your cash flow, and help you decide whether the account actually makes sense for your business.

The goal isnโ€™t just to get into the right stores. Itโ€™s to build the right partnerships. by @isc.channel

Paris Fashion Week is over. Before next season starts, spend some time with your own collection.

Name the silhouette, fabric, or fit that makes it yours, and keep developing it. You can admire another designerโ€™s work and stay with your own direction. People recognize a brand when the same ideas come back each season, a little stronger.

The best stores donโ€™t just sell clothes โ€” they give you a point of view.

Simonett in Miami is such a good example of what happens when the space, assortment and overall experience all feel equally considered. The store itself feels almost gallery-like, which immediately slows you down and makes you want to look closer.

The assortment has a really strong balance of discovery and wearability. Youโ€™ll find colorful, unexpected pieces that feel special and one-of-a-kind alongside more approachable wardrobe staples, so the store never feels too precious or too commercial.

Find brands like:
@tigra__tigra
@niathomas.co
@gimaguas
@siedres
@simonmillerusa
@coperni
@beaufille

I also loved the range in price point. There are accessible entry pieces mixed with more elevated designer finds, which makes the assortment feel layered rather than one-note.

For me, thatโ€™s what makes a great multi-brand store: a clear identity, a sense of discovery, and enough variety that different customers can still find their way into the world.

Does the world need another fashion brand? It might need yours, if you can name why someone would choose it.

People start brands to make something of their own, to earn a living, to build a community, or to be part of a creative industry and the people who shape it.

The margin, the cash and the work still have to hold. Ten questions to see what you are building before you spend.

The right room can change everything.

Right now, Paris is filled with brands, buyers, agents, showrooms and industry insiders from around the world โ€” all coming together to review new collections, build relationships and decide what comes next.

Paris Fashion Week is officially underway through October 7th, and throughout the city, brands are presenting their Spring/Summer 2027 collections to a global market.

Because building a fashion brand isnโ€™t only about creating something great.

Itโ€™s about putting yourself in the places where conversations happen, relationships begin, and opportunities can actually find you.

Sometimes growth comes from the collection.

Sometimes it comes from the room you chose to walk into.

Your dream store location might be different from where your customers actually are.

Tradeshows like @brandassembly help you find stockists. Your wholesale accounts can then reveal where demand is building.

Before signing a lease, look at sell-through and repeat orders by city. Use that evidence to test a pop-up, and potentially open your first store.

A few things we noticed buyers looking for during NYC market:

While reviewing Spring/Summer โ€™27 collections, some buyers were also thinking ahead to holiday and looking for pieces they could potentially bring in earlier for November delivery โ€” especially giftable accessories, fun wearable add-ons, and more occasion-driven pieces that could work for holiday sales โ€” events, pop-ups, and activations.

Separately, when it came to Spring/Summer โ€™27 โ€” March/April delivery โ€” the sweet spot seemed to be novelty that still feels easy to wear.

Buyers were excited by pieces that felt fresh and special, but still approachable enough that the customer could immediately understand how to wear them.

A good reminder that buyers are always thinking beyond just the collection in front of them โ€” theyโ€™re thinking about timing, customer moments, and where each product fits within the bigger retail calendar. by @isc.channel

A good buyer appointment is only the beginning.

Write down what they loved, questioned and couldnโ€™t find in your collection. Follow up within 24 hours, stay in touch through the season, and bring their feedback into your next design decisions. Even without an order, that buyer relationship is worth building.

Your showroom is part of your branding.

Before a buyer touches a piece or opens your linesheet, the space has already made an impression. The way you present the collectionโ€”what you put together, what you leave out, and the details around itโ€”should help them understand your point of view.

A logo tells people your brandโ€™s name. The experience you create tells them what that name stands for.
