Finally, I've made this showreel with English subtitles because in, let's call it, "past life" I used to make a lot of filming acting work. And here this "used to" it's not an end for my artistic career (I believe so), it's an end of the phase of my film acting in Russia. For a while, forever... I don't know. I don't want to support the regime of war so I am on my immigrant journey making art to try to collect all the pieces of ruined world together.
Peace. Freedom. Acceptance. Meditation. No bouder.
Make art, not war.

September is only halfway through, and we’ve already had so many wonderful experiences! Let’s start the recap of the first half of the month with Oslo Fringe 2026.
We are so grateful to the whole @oslofringe team for their work and for the festival itself.
A warm welcome, an easygoing atmosphere, professionals all around, fellow artists from every corner of the world - truly inspiring!
We tested out the new version of our documentary phone-call experience, I AM A WITNESS OF YOUR EXISTENCE, in Oslo with a Norwegian audience. It was an interesting and inspiring experience for us, and it confirmed two things:
	1.	The project works - it’s alive, it’s functioning.
	2.	People need this kind of connection, and we hope we can keep building it.
So - a huge thank you to everyone involved in Oslo Fringe. And yes: come to Tromsø! The artistic life up here is on fire 😉
And now, the sad news.
Today we received an email that Oslo kommune is cutting Oslo Fringe’s funding:
In its proposed 2027 budget, the City of Oslo plans to reduce funding for Oslo Fringe from NOK 1.8 million to NOK 500,000 - a 72% cut. If this proposal stands, there will be no festival next year.
Here’s what we have to say about that.
First: from where we stand, arts and culture are among the aspects of society that can never be overlooked or underfunded - especially not in times of war and crisis. We speak different languages, live in different time zones and climates. So how do we stay connected, how do we exchange, how do we remain human to human? The answer is art and culture. They are the foundation for that exchange.
Second, we want to ask a question: what kind of world do we want to live in? What kind of world do we want to leave for our kids, our cats, our dogs, and everyone else on that list? A world where tax money goes to weapons and militarisation?
You might say: but what if there’s a war - how would art help with that? Fair question.
Maybe it is very naive and romantic but let’s be honest: if there really is a war - a world war - then by the end of it, human civilization won’t be around to need saving anyway.

So: make art, not war.
And fund art, not war.

Imagine you receive a phone number and decide to call it. Who could be on the other side? Where is this person? What are they doing every day? What’s happening to them right now? What can they tell you — and what can you tell them? Do you have something in common?
Just talk to a stranger living somewhere in the world — real people talking to real people, witnessing each other. Remember, we are not just numbers and statistics, but real human beings. Stay connected.

“I AM A WITNESS OF YOUR EXISTENCE” is a participatory, documentary phone-call experience that connects strangers from different parts of the world through real-time, intimate conversations. People with contrasting lives, backgrounds, and realities meet not through screens or statistics, but through a simple human act: talking and listening. taken in Centralteateret by @iscrimas

This Sunday, September 6th 14:00 & again on September 8th 17:00 TEA WITH T at Open Out Festival @openoutfestival
In a way, as part of DREAMING IN THE DARK.;)

Some parts of me have lived in the dark for a long time — exile, migration, being a transgender man from a place where that alone can make you a target. I know what it’s like to feel invisible, to not fully own your own life or body.

But darkness has also held me gently. Here in Tromsø, three winters now, I’ve learned a different kind - polar night, small lights, people leaning in close to hear each other. It’s taught me how to listen, and how good it feels to be heard.

So just in a few days, I want to open the table again. To share a little of what I’ve carried - and to listen to what you carry too.

Come ask the weird, the stupid, the questions you’ve always been too afraid to ask - about TEA, and about T (transgender experience). Nothing is too small, too personal, or too awkwardly phrased.

Curious about pronouns? Bodies? Dating? Family? Russia? Norway? Prejudice? Or why the letter T seems to upset right-wing politicians so much?

No lecture. No rehearsed answers. Just tea, warmth, and a conversation that goes wherever it needs to.

(Questions about the actual tea are very welcome too. :)

Free entrance, limited capacity. So don’t forget to register here (link in bio): https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSehp9yD2vvB5xI-NzcTly2VWH48-ibEnToyFVwH4fQklByzoQ/viewform?fbclid=PAcGRvZgJmZGlkFlDdWnw0KOK_cgw2-Ce7ok4EnjD9lyhleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZA8xMjQwMjQ1NzQyODc0MTQAAac-9lh_RQNh-nFeI6vo8YRIZ5w2yfQ8YOMgbC6IYsxME5eHJDKhUMwgdAzCPg_aem_n7pDmk-L-KD6dP-nc3_2XA

This Saturday, August 22nd, at Terminal B — join us for "Tea with T," a performance-tea ceremony.

Come ask the weird or stupid questions about TEA and T (transgender experience) you've always been too afraid to ask.

Big or small, personal, political, practical, even awkwardly phrased — it's all welcome. Curious about pronounces? Bodies? Dating? Family? Russia? Norway? Prejudice? Or why the letter T seems to be the most annoying letter for right wing politicians?

No lecture. No right answers prepared in advance. Just tea, people, questions, and a conversation that goes wherever it goes.

And yes — questions about the actual tea count too.;)

Free entrance but capacity is limited.

The performance is a project of ISKRA production, a theater company based in Tromsø, Northern Norway, founded in 2024 by exiled artists Prokhor Gusev and Gulnara Iskakova.

In navigating new circumstances, a different cultural landscape, and a new country, ISKRA Production seeks to create a space for dialogue where identities, roots, and innovative approaches to theater can be explored amidst a world in crisis. The company frequently collaborates with freelance artists to bring diverse perspectives to their work. taken in Tromsø Kunstforening by @iscrimas
