At the 38th National Games, in front of the PM and CM, The Pandavaas band of Uttarakhand used the stage to raise Uttarakhand’s land laws and mool niwas issue.

20 months later, their payment for that event is still pending.

Some say, Maybe it’s because they spoke from the stage. 🙂

Pandavaas has been one of those names that keeps Uttarakhand’s culture alive and takes our pahadi identity to the world. Even with migration changing the hills, they’ve continued building their work from Uttarakhand and speaking up for the culture they come from.

For the 38th National Games, Pandavaas created “Halla Dhoom Dhadakka” and also performed during the Games. According to their recent appeal, the payment for the work is still pending even after around 20–21 months. They have now raised the matter through a letter to the concerned authorities and the Chief Minister.

Artists who carry our culture forward deserve to be heard, and hopefully this matter gets resolved soon.

पाण्डवाज़ की ओर से माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री @pushkarsinghdhami.uk जी से विनम्र निवेदन।

आदरणीय मुख्यमन्त्री जी,

महोदय, अब हमें आपसे ही उम्मीद है। अन्य अधिकारियों की ओर से अब तक केवल चुप्पी मिली है।

38वें राष्ट्रीय खेल उत्तराखण्ड 2025 के लिए हमने थीम सॉन्ग तैयार किया, मशाल यात्रा के विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों में प्रस्तुति दी और उद्घाटन समारोह का भी हिस्सा रहे। उत्तराखण्ड की संस्कृति, पहचान और गौरव को देशभर में पहुँचाने में हमने पूरी निष्ठा से अपना योगदान दिया।

दिसम्बर 2024 और जनवरी 2025 में किए गए हमारे कार्यों के बिल आज सितम्बर 2026 तक लम्बित हैं। यानी लगभग 20–21 महीने बीत जाने के बावजूद हमें हमारे कार्यों का भुगतान प्राप्त नहीं हुआ है।

इस भुगतान के समाधान के लिए हमने लगातार सभी आधिकारिक माध्यमों से प्रयास किए हैं:

• सीएम हेल्पलाइन — पहली शिकायत बिना समाधान के बन्द कर दी गई। पुनः शिकायत करने के बाद भी मामला लम्बित है।
• खेल विभाग
• माननीय खेल मन्त्री जी
• सम्बन्धित अधिकारी
• मुख्यमन्त्री आवास स्थित हेल्पडेस्क
हर स्तर पर निवेदन करने के बावजूद आज तक कोई ठोस समाधान नहीं मिला।

हमें विभाग की ओर से पहले बताया गया था कि बजट उपलब्ध नहीं है और सहयोग करने का अनुरोध किया गया था। हमने परिस्थितियों को समझते हुए सहयोग किया और अपनी जिम्मेदारी पूरी की। लेकिन अब न तो हमारे फोन उठाए जा रहे हैं और न ही सन्देशों का कोई उत्तर मिल रहा है। यदि अन्य कलाकारों और वैण्डर्स का भुगतान किया जा चुका है, तो केवल पाण्डवाज़ का भुगतान अभी तक लम्बित क्यों है? हम किसी विशेष सुविधा की मांग नहीं कर रहे हैं—हम केवल अपने द्वारा किए गए कार्य का उचित भुगतान चाहते हैं।

हम पहाड़ छोड़कर नहीं गए। हम आज भी यहीं रहकर अपनी लोकसंस्कृति, अपनी कला और अपनी मातृभूमि के लिए काम कर रहे हैं। सोशल मीडिया पर अपनी बात रखना हमारी इच्छा नहीं, बल्कि मजबूरी बन गई है।

जब सभी आधिकारिक दरवाज़े खटखटाने के बाद भी सुनवाई न हो, तो जनता के मञ्च पर अपनी बात रखने के अलावा हमारे पास क्या विकल्प बचता है?

माननीय मुख्यमन्त्री जी, आपसे विनम्र निवेदन है कि कृपया इस विषय का संज्ञान लेकर सम्बन्धित विभाग को आवश्यक निर्देश दें और हमारे लम्बित भुगतान का निष्पक्ष एवं शीघ्र समाधान सुनिश्चित करवाएँ।
हमें विश्वास है कि आपके हस्तक्षेप से हमारी लम्बे समय से लम्बित समस्या का समाधान होगा।
