Some have interpreted the elusive markings on the Ishango Bone as prophetic, telling of some futuristic event taking place. In light of new evidence, experts suggest this could be referring to Beyond the Music festival @gobeyondmcr - which is taking place as soon as next week.

On Wednesday 7th October 2026 AD, Ishango Bone will attempt to shed light on this prophecy and determine some of the bone’s original meaning.

Tickets on sale now to observe this historic event (see bio).

On Tuesday the 22nd of September, 2026 - a Tuesday like any other - The Ishango Bone appeared briefly at @piccadillyrecords

Dazed, witnesses have little memory of the event, but evidence remains to dispel any theory of mere shared hallucination: many double A-side singles, sheathed in Egyptian papyrus…

What could this mean?

What is The Agency? Who supplies this infinite source of doughnuts? To what end?!

NEVER STOP QUESTIONING! FREE YOUR MINDS! KNOW THE BONE!

For three years, purely for the shits & gigs, @iamchriswarburton has been inviting some brilliant guests into conversation -the likes of @graemepark @stan_chow @johnthomson2 @dannybrocklehurst1 @dj_paulette1 @justinmoorhouse to name but a few.

Along the way, there’s been live music from some seriously talented up-and-coming bands, plenty of laughs, great conversations and most importantly, the creation of something genuinely special.

This one was every bit as special as all the others -marking three years of ‘A Sunday Thing’ and the beginning of what has become a brilliant afternoon. This time we had the great pleasure of witnessing @ishango.bone followed by the bloody lovely @johnnie18

Here’s to the next chapter. Thanks, as ever goes to everyone involved, especially to those who work pro bono - @jasonlockphoto @jtilleycreative @gravytraindjs @a_sunday_thing

The latest evidence to suggest Ishango Bone occurred last Saturday at @manchesterpsychfest seems conclusive based on this photo evidence from @mf.chester

People on-scene to observe and make contact with the Bone, have commented on a high level of appreciation towards the facilitators of this phenomena. @nowwave @theabbeymanchester @ellielouise_audio as well as other spectacles such as @maquiiinaria which attributed to an interesting evening of sonic curiosity.

Experts are saying that tonight during @manchesterpsychfest is one of the best nights of the year to observe the bone. Visibility is at its peak at 9:30 in Northern England, and at @theabbeymanchester it will be at its clearest.
