transparently, i’d been feeling a little overwhelmed & disillusioned by dance lately. something i’ve loved my entire life started feeling like a job — deliverables, deadlines, clients, etc.

but honestly, last night, i felt my love for dance reignite — surrounded by friends, inspired by vinayak’s story, and internalizing the lyrics of this beautiful song. i was just dancing — and having the most amazing time.

a bit yappy, a bit personal —

but the song says it itself — jo hai unkahi, jo hai unsuni, woh baat kya hai bata 🥹

and — if you don’t want to tell the world — at least khud se to na tu chhupa ;)

one more year until i legally have to get my own health insurance… yikes

could not possibly capture everyone but ty TY so much to everyone who came to celebrate me & my existence — there are infinite places you can be Friday night in nyc so 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽

i tried to pick cute photos of everyone but in the case i didnt, trust me all my friends are hot (my mom doesn’t let me be friends w ugly people)

because everyone and their mother (and my mom too actually) will ask — dress is @retrofete

usually not a sappy caption person — but —

today is my birthday! ive been going around telling people im 25 for the last few weeks to “desensitize” myself to it, but honestly, i could not feel more aligned. i feel like i get to finally live MY life. and, im excited to take you all along with me, because i would never be able to do any of this without my village ❤️🧿🫶🏽
