Learning has no age—only passion. ❤️

Watching Ruma Di take on Chowka No. 10 (Arasa) with such dedication, patience, and perseverance is truly inspiring. Every step is proof that consistency always wins over perfection.

So proud of your journey. Here's to many more milestones! 🌸🙏

Some memories from the Nritya Basudha Festival Thane 2026.

I was extremely lucky to host two of Odissi's gems, the legendary Guru Smt Debi Basu and the brilliant Guru Shri Ramprasad Gannavarapu.

They were kind enough to grace the occassion and bless our students who have set out to learn and understand the art form. It was an absolute honour to hear them speak and have them come over to encourage young talent. Ever grateful to my Gurus Shri Panchanan Bhuyan and Smt Priyambada Samantray for the opportunity.

P.S. the mardala playing in the background has been played by Shri Ramprasad Gannavarapu ji himself. Absolutely thrilled to have him as a support system here in Mumbai.

On the birth centenary of Padmavibhushan Guru Shri Kelucharan Mohapatra, we remember a teacher whose life changed the course of Odissi dance and the lives of countless students.

For the world, he was the master who brought Odissi to the global stage.
For us, he is our Param Guru — the one who shaped our Guru, Guru Shri Panchanan Bhuyan, and whose training, values, and vision continue to guide Aradhana Dance Foundation.

His contribution was not only in creating beautiful pieces, but in showing how to live as an artist: with dedication, humility, and complete honesty toward the art. His discipline, compassion for students, and quiet strength continue to inspire us every day in our practice and teaching.

As we honor his centenary, we feel gratitude for being part of his lineage and responsibility to carry forward what he began.

With sincere respect and remembrance,
Pranam.

Snippets from the Nritya Basudha Festival 2025 held in New Delhi on the 9th November. As always, I cannot thank my Gurus enough for the abundance they have blessed me with in terms of knowledge of dance and opportunities to showcase it for an ever supportive audience.

Thank you Guru @panchananbhuyan and Guru @priyambadasamantray of the @aradhana_odissi for being the most wonderful teachers. And a million thanks to my best friend and husband @ninadgandhi for being my strongest supporter and my parents @sw.astikadi492022 and @emongangopadhyay for having my back always. Special shout out to @snigdhashikhap didi for always opening her home and heart for me. 🥰
