The scene from the Mahabharata of Draupadi being gambled away by her husband and disrobed by her captor, forced to ask Krishna to come save her while everyone watches.

Some tales are as old as time. Seen at IMGE’s open rehearsal at IMGE Studios.

Yesterday at @wisefruitnyc 🌊 Thank you @brindaguha for creating this magical space and allowing me in.

This piece I discovered in my very first intensive back in 2023. It opened a portal for storytelling for me in every way that I work.

It keeps coming in big life changes to remind me to surrender to the flow, and not to be the arrogant sailor who thinks he knows more than the river.

You can catch this piece this Saturday in NYC again at @rovacodance

I’m opening @imgestudios.nyc next week - we have classes and a special open rehearsal of (no)man before we go on tour. I CAN’T believe I’m saying this and it’s really happening.

And then classes and performances across SF and DC thru September.

Lucky to live this life 🌊🌊🌊 by @ishitamili
