FRIDAY WE BACK TO OUR SCHEDULED PROGRAM.after 3 years I’m finally ready to hoop again. i don’t think people understand artists are still HUMAN. we go through ups and downs just like everyone else in this world. i completely lost myself back in 2019. i didn’t know where i was going, and i had no idea what to do next. I’ve lost people i would’ve never thought I’d be separated from. i fell in love with distractions. i fell in love with excuses. & no matter how many times i played tennis back and forth in my head about this music thing, i couldn’t fall out of love with it. some say “you’re older, why are you still doing this?” but some also say, “keep going, i wish i had the courage to truly follow my dreams”. well, as i got older i personally feel like I’ve gotten better. also, since i youngin I’ve always said “quitting is for 😾’s”. i wasn’t raised to be a quitter. Sonia named me Ishmial, and Ishmial was a warrior. & i will fight for what i believe in until my journey is over. throughout my journey i had angels here on earth guiding me back to self. Kenny played a major role. my circle played a major role. Emonee played a major role. my day 1 supporters played a major role. without them i would probably still be lost at sea. i feel like I’ve always put people over myself. so this right here is for ME. this right here is for those who were/are lost, and are on their journey back to self. this isn’t for the radio (those will be coming very shortly). during this time i was grieving bad. i wasn’t sleeping. i was losing self. i was drowning. but also during these times there were special moments. moments where i remembered who i was. scratch that, remembered who I AM. this was one of those moments.
