It starts at a gate in St. Louis. It ends with your hands in fabric someone dyed by hand.

That’s Nigeria.

Nowhere else does a country meet you like this — the heat at the airplane door, the noise that turns out to be music, the designer who looks you in the eye and tells you exactly where the thread came from. Even visiting events like Fashion Souk, shows how culture doesn’t sit behind glass or stays tucked away neatly in museums. It’s on a hanger. You can touch it. You can take it home.

We begin this new month with gratitude. We are enough. The vision we dare to have can become the landscape others inherit. We will also not build small. We would instead build what our hands know to be true. Build what our dreams have been quietly preparing you for. Build on ground that belongs to us. See as we let the building be our answer to everything that ever tried to tell us we could not in photos…
